Toddlers can be surprisingly placid...

...while sporting temperatures approaching the top end of your regular thermometer.

This appears to be a sturdy, brave fever stubbornly resisting every medication known to mankind (OK, Foreigner, her Mom and village pharmacist).

A true champion. A fever of all fevers.

I guess I should be proud.

Anybody up for night shift in our house? No?

Thought so.

I'd be game but the kid would be gone in the morning.

and your sausages, and findus crispy pancakes.

I'm a tinker like that.

XBox - One should not make rush promises like that!

As for the kid being gone by morning - nah, you'd be so knackered after sleepless night that we'd probably find you passed out in the bathroom. You just don't have the stamina we have developed in last 19 months.

Have to disappoint you about sausages and crispy pancakes - you just can't nick something which is not there in the first place.

On the bright note - I can make real pancakes in the morning, with raspberry jam and all. Provided I'll be well rested (which I WOULD be mwahahahaaa).

Ice cream. Lots of ice cream.

And a Disney film to take poor sprout's mind off things.

Hope the fever buggers off by tomorrow :)
